Kapama
Kapama is a 12 000 ha game reserve situated near Hoedspruit, 48 kilometres to the west of the Kruger National Park. Located in an African bushveld setting, the reserve is unique for its sweeping views of the Drakensberg mountains which lie a mere 10 kilometeres to the west.

Kapama Lodge
With sweeping views across a tranquil lake in the heartof the game reserve, Kapama Lodge is the epitome of de-luxe accomodation.

Twenty luxurious, thatched chalets, decorated to reflect Africa´s rich textures, are set in indigenous gardens. Winding timber walkways link the reception area, conference room, lounge, library and dining-room.

The tea deck is a relaxing venue for watching an abundance of birds in the balmy evenings, while the lounge offers a warm, cosy welcome on cool winter evenings.

Buffalo Camp
Built on the theme of an East African safari camp of bygone days, Buffalo Camp offers visitors to the African bush a unique and intimate experience. It is ideally suited to those who wish to experience the essence of the bushveld without compromising on comfort.

Eight luxury canvas tents, each sleeping two guests, are set on stilts in the uper reaches of tall trees, overlooking a seasonal river. Each tent has private bathroom facilities and is interconnected to other tents by wooden walkways high above a sandy river bed. Hot water is provided by an ingenious and effective African boiler.

Set in an indigenous garden, the accomodation facilities, thatched bar, dining-room and campfire area contribute to the intimate ambience of the camp. At night lanterns rather than elecric lights, glow under the canopy of treetops. The camp´s refreshing swimming pool offers respite from the heat of the African summer or the day´s adventures may be started in the cool open-air bar with its spectacular view over the river bed.

Since the camp accomodates only 16 guests, special attention is devoted to personalised service. With the guidance of knowledgeable game rangers and its unrivalled comfort, Buffalo Camp is a truly authentic way to experience the African bush.

Nyala House
Personal hospitality in select company is the hallmark of Kapama´s Nyala House, where eight people are accommodated in four double rooms with en suite facilities - two upstairs and two downstairs.

This tastefully furnished house provides guests with supremely comfortable home-from-home accommodation and delicious meals prepared by a full-time housekeeper. A safari vehicle and game ranger are assigned to privide guestes with the bush experience of their choice.
