Cheetah Research Centre - The scenic Magaliesberg mountain range with its abundance of fauna and flora will take you to Hartebeespoort dam whose potters, sculptors and artists welcome visitors. The local cultural fleamarket promises a shopping experience where you may bargain for the best price on African curio. Children can be entertained at the reptile and animal park or take a ride on the aerial cableway to the summit of the Magaliesberg.

In the afternoon, a 3 hour tour on open vehicle at the Cheetah Research Centre where the world famous King cheetah was bred. It was here that the birth of Wild Dogs was filmed for the very first time.

Pilansberg National Park - A visit to this geologically unique National Park is an excellent opportunity for viewing game if your time is limited. This reserve, the fourth largest in Southern Africa, covers an area of more than 500 square kilometers and lies inside an extinct volcanic alkaline crater, is only 2 hours drive from Johannesburg, therefore ideally suited for shorter tours. Pilansberg offers not only large herds of antelope, giraffe and zebra, but is also home to elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard and especially famous for its white and black rhino.

Lion and Rhino Park - Lion, rhino, wild dogs and best of all, the Birds of Prey center.


Lesedi Cultural Village - A walk through time with the Zulu, Basotho, Xhosa and Pedi tribes!


Pretoria Capital City - Besides being the "Jacaranda City" Pretoria has much to offer the tourist with historical sites and national monuments spreaded all around the city of which the most obvious attraction being the Union Buildings situated on Meintjieskop. From here you will have a bird´s eye-view of the city. A specialized historical tour of the Union Buildings can be arranged on request.

Other places of interest are: The Voortrekker Monument, towering 61 meters above the crest of Monument Hill was erected to commemorate the Great Trek. Melrose House, where the Peace Treaty of Vereeniging which ended the Anglo-Boer War was signedin 1902. This elegant museum stands as a superb example of the evolution of Victorian to Edwardian architectural styles and interiors.

Pretoria National Botanical Gardens which accommodates subtropical and temperate plants. The gardens feature include over half of the country´s tree species as well as cycads, aloes and other collections.


Sun City / Lost City - Sun City is adjacent to Pilanesberg National Park and has the second-largest casino in the world outside the United States. It is a unique jetset playground for the rich and famous with international artists having often filled the massive "superbowl" entertainment center to capacity. Children can swim and play at the "Valley of the Waves", the tropic gardens and tumbling waterfalls will astound both adults and children or test your golfing skills at the Gary Player golf course where the Million Dollar Golf Classic is played each year. The Lost City complex includes the ornate Palace Hotel with its domes and minarets. It also has its own jungle, a large swimming area, artificial beach, waterfalls and streams.


Soweto - The name Soweto evokes a spectrum of images and emotions for people across the world. Soweto, the largest black city in Africa, full of controversy and vibrance will surprise you in many ways and put new perspective in your life. The people of Soweto will welcome you and make you feel at home.

Visits will include: Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital - biggest in the southern hemisphere, Freedom Square, Madiba Nelson Mandela´s house in Orlando West, Hector Peterson Memorial Square, Archbishop Tutu´s house and Wandi´s Shebeen where you will be served lunch.
